What to expect:
This special event combines freeplay, sparring, games, and friendly competition, reserved for students who train regularly with us, our partner schools or are aiming to. You will have the chance to apply your techniques fluidly in combat scenarios with peers and instructors, measure your progress, and see your skills develop in action, all while having a great time.

Benefits you gain:
Boost your confidence with the sword in both sparring and friendly competitive settings. Gain practical experience in freeplay and fighting scenarios, while developing sword fighting proficiency, endurance, and agility. It’s also a great opportunity to try new weapons, prepare for tournaments, or simply enjoy crossing blades with your training partners!

All ‘HEMA-safe’ weapons are welcome, as long as you have the appropriate safety equipment and skillset. If you don’t have equipment, we’ll provide a safe HEMA training sword to get you started. Not yet training with us but curious to see what it’s about? Get in touch.

In this mixed-level class, we offer freeplay and sparring activities tailored to each participant’s proficiency. Access to ‘full contact’ sparring and freeplay is subject to safety checks by the instructor.
