Terms & Conditions

Swordpunch offers Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) classes taught in person. Classes and offers include:

1-hour group class sword techniques
2-hour group class sword techniques & applied sparring
5 x group class bundle for 2-hour group classes is valid for attendance of any 2-hour group class within 5 weeks of purchase. Classes must be scheduled within 4 weeks of purchase to be attended before the 5-week expiry.
45min Kids & Teens Class.
Private lessons per hour as well as initial discounted introductory offer for the first 1h lesson (only valid once per person).
The discounted 5-hour private lesson pack is valid for attendance within 3 months. Sessions must be scheduled within 2 months of purchase in order to be used before the 3-month expiry.
The discounted 10-hour private lesson pack is valid for attendance within 6 months. Sessions must be scheduled within 5 months of purchase in order to be used before the 6-month expiry.

All classes and private lessons must be booked in advance and paid online via the Swordpunch class booking system.
Payment is accepted via Visa and MasterCard (credit/debit).
Group classes can be booked from 12 days in advance up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Private sessions can be booked from 30 days in advance up to 24 hours before the session.
All sessions are subject to availability.

You may reschedule a purchased group class or private lesson up to 12h before its start time to rebook within your purchase allowance.
Changes made less than 12 hours before the session will be considered as attended and cannot be rescheduled.
If you do not attend your scheduled class or lesson (“no-show”) it will be marked as used and no refund or rebooking will be possible.
If you arrive late for a class or private lesson, the session duration may be shortened accordingly to avoid impacting other participants.
If you are more than 20 minutes late for your private lesson the session may be cancelled and marked as attended.
For emergencies and exceptional cases, please contact us as soon as possible. We may request proof and consider exceptions at our discretion.

All class packs and private lesson packs are non-transferable and may only be used by the purchaser.
Packs cannot be shared, gifted, or reassigned to another person.
All packs are valid for the specified duration from the date of purchase; unused sessions will expire after the validity period.
Standard booking, rescheduling, and attendance rules apply to all sessions booked using packs.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes or private lessons due to instructor availability, weather conditions, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a rescheduled class or a refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Swordpunch promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive training environment. By booking a class, you agree to abide by our code of conduct and safety policies, including our zero-tolerance policy on discrimination, abuse and harassment.
Participation in Historical European Martial Arts and sword figthing involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury. By joining you confirm that you are fit to take part safely and accept these risks. Our trained instructors prioritise safety at all times.
You acknowledge that Swordpunch teaches historical martial arts for sporting, and recreational purposes. You agree not to use any skills learned to threaten, intimidate, or harm others, nor to apply them unlawfully or maliciously.

We occasionally take photos and videos during classes for promotional, educational, and social media purposes.
If you prefer not to be included in photos or videos, please inform the instructor and assist in staying out of during the recording.

Swordpunch and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during training.
You participate at your own risk.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
